UN Global Compact Network Malaysia & Brunei Key Result Areas

2020 has been an unusual year but on the same side of the coin, the pandemic has given rise to the proliferation of Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) concepts and its positive relationship in building economic resiliency. The pandemic has given us the emotional feel of the importance of balancing environmental and social factors in our economic pursuits. This trend will ensure that corporate sustainability will be part of the new normal fabric for good. For us at UN Global Compact Network Malaysia & Brunei (UNGCMYB), despite the constraints brought about by the pandemic, 2020 was a year of growth and our team is incredibly happy to share some of our key results with our readers.

Moving forward, UNGCMYB aims to raise SDG ambition around the four main areas of zero carbon economy, sustainable finance, prosperous work for all, and sustainable trade. We would also like to encourage you to join our United Nations Global Compact family and work together to raise our collective sustainability ambition for 2021!
