About the event

The Centre for Sustainable Corporations, with its two knowledge partners, - Global Compact Network Malaysia & Brunei (UNGCMYB) and CDP - is inviting corporate sustainability professionals to an hour-long workshop on how to get started measuring Scope 3 emissions when applying science-based targets and managing sustainability within the supply chain. Public and private corporations starting to identify and assess emission hotspots as well as resource and energy risks in their supply chains will find this workshop particularly useful.

Since 2015, the Science-Based Targets initiative (SBTi) has been providing guidance and tools that enable companies to set and validate their GHG emission-reduction targets according to the latest climate science, in line with the goals of the Paris Agreement. One of the key challenges for companies measuring and setting targets are Scope 3, or indirect emissions in their value chains. This session, led by Amelie Tan, (Regional Lead, Commit to Action, CDP) will provide a comprehensive overview on how to tackle Scope 3 targets according to SBTi criteria.

Participation is complimentary, but advance registration is required.
