Malaysia & Brunei’s largest Business Sustainability Platform in enabling Private Sector Sustainability Performance
UN Global Compact Network Malaysia & Brunei (UNGCMYB) is the official local network to the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC). UNGC is a strategic policy initiative which aims to mobilise a global movement of sustainable companies and stakeholders to create the world we want. It encourages businesses to align strategies and operations with the Ten Principles of human rights, labour, environment and anti-corruption, and to take actions that advance broader societal goals, such as the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), with an emphasis on collaboration and innovation. UNGCMYB provides a membership-based platform for all Malaysian Private Sectors to participate in; and helps them to raise their SDG ambition and achieve business excellence.
Localized Sustainability Content
One of the keys in advancing towards raising SDG Ambition is to have accessible localised knowledge for our local MSMEs & Corporates. As a local sustainability knowledge provider, we produce various sustainability toolkit and guides with different range of topics for the public:

The Corporate Sustainability Practitioner Competency Framework is a collaboration between UN Global Compact Network Malaysia & Brunei and Bursa Malaysia. The competency framework serves as an aspirational reference to guide practitioners on the skills and competencies required to navigate the corporate sustainability ecosystem and drive sustainable outcomes.
SME - SDG Toolkit
SME Guide to Sustainable Business
The MAJU Framework was designed to help SMEs identify and leverage sustainability as a source for growth and adapt to globalization. It is conceived as an easy step-by-step guide to help SMEs approach sustainability in ways that is more comfortable to them. The toolkit helps you with the basic knowledge to get you started.
