Recognising the Next Generation of Changemakers Driving Sustainability Impact
The Young Executive Sustainability Changemaker Badge is an initiative by UN Global Compact Network Malaysia & Brunei (UNGCMYB) to recognise exceptional young professionals who are leading sustainability-driven change within their organisations.
This digital badge is awarded to individuals demonstrating leadership, innovation, and measurable impact in advancing sustainable business practices in alignment with the Ten Principles of the UN Global Compact and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Nomination Categories
Nominees can apply across three categories (Environment, Social, or Governance) based on the focus of their initiative.
Earn all three badges to unlock the ESG Changemaker Badge, recognising holistic impact across all sustainability pillars.
Who We’re Looking For?
35 years old or younger at the time of nomination.
Currently employed at a participating company of UNGCMYB.
Has initiated positive change in business through sustainability-aligned solutions.
Nominees will be evaluated across the following dimensions:

Timeline and Selection Process
1. Nomination
Answer five evaluation questions that demonstrate the leadership, influence, relevance, innovation, and impact of your initiative in advancing sustainability in your company.
2. Evaluation
Submissions are reviewed quarterly by the UNGCMYB evaluation panel based on the selection criteria.
3. Recognition
Selected changemakers will receive a digital badge, be featured on UNGCMYB platforms, and be invited to join an exclusive young changemakers community.
Nominations for 2025 are open all year-round.
